What is DEMOLA?

DEMOLA is an interdiciplinary, interprofessional, practice-oriented innovation course - and a collaboration model for the educational institutions and businesses. DEMOLA is driven by a need and a demand for new solutions. Through collaboration among public sector and private businesses and students, new products, processes, services and concepts are developed with the objective to raise the innovation level to be radical. The DEMOLA course is end-user oriented and tailored to the business additional interfaces. All finished DEMOLA projects have a preto-type or MVP as end result.

Cases are formed by project partners and matured by DEMOLA facilitators from the four educational institutions.

Who can join?

Any student at SDU, UCL, EAL and SIMAC can apply for DEMOLA. Since we look for diversity, we welcome you whatever program you are studying. DEMOLA activities operates on the basis of the different skills, ideas, and talents of students with diverse educational backgrounds. You can join DEMOLA in two ways on different terms:

Joining curricular you/we will:

- Require full effort of you (Yes)
- Earn credits/ECTS- points (Yes)
- Get letter of completion (No)
- Have an academic advisor (Yes)
- Do assessment (Yes)

Work on real cases
DEMOLA teams work on real cases together with partner companies. For instance, teams create and refine business concepts, develop new products or build demos.
We apply the DEMOLA method, which means that all projects are clearly structured, scheduled, and facilitated. This is co-creation done right, yielding real results.

Make no mistake about it; DEMOLA projects do require an effort. Here you can put your skills to the test, but you will also gain invaluable experience, insight, and new contacts.

What we expect from you

If you wish to apply you must:

  • be strongly motivated and demonstrate experience of relevance
  • possess entrepreneurial knowledge and practical skills – or are eager to improve on this
  • be prepared to collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams
  • want to work with practice-orientated projects
  • participate in the full DEMOLA course
  • cooperate with private/public partners
